R-PODID PROJECT NEWS

This week, research connected to the R-PODID project was presented to doctoral candidates of the iSense Doctoral Network (DN iSENSE), highlighting ongoing work in the field of electric machine modelling and diagnostics.

On March 26, the R-PODID project successfully held the second meeting of its Advisory Board for Dissemination and Exploitation, bringing together key stakeholders and partners to evaluate progress and refine strategies for maximising the project’s impact.

R-PODID was extensively presented during the ICTP winter school.

R-PODID was represented at the IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition - APEC2026 - in San Antonio, TX, by consortium partner Silicon Austria Labs.

On the 10th and 11th of February, partners of the R-PODID consortium gathered in Athens for a dynamic and highly collaborative Consortium Meeting and General Assembly, marking another important milestone in the project’s development.

21–22 January 2026, Prague, Czech Republic – R-PODID was presented at the 2nd Pan-European Electronics Design Conference (PEDC), a two-day event featuring peer-reviewed presentations and expert panels delivering immediate, actionable techniques for electronics design, verification and production.

On 13 January 2026, the R-PODID project organised a specialised workshop on AI-based modelling in power electronics at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), bringing together leading researchers and industry experts from across Europe.

R-PODID was prominently featured at EFECS 2025, the flagship European Forum for Electronic Components and Systems, held on 3–4 December in St. Julian’s, Malta.

R-PODID received prominent attention at the 26th International Conference on Thermal, Mechanical and Multi-Physics Simulation and Experiments in Microelectronics and Microsystems (#EuroSimE), where Piet Watté of Signify presented the technology during a keynote address.

On 18 and 19 November 2025, Neways marked a significant milestone in the R-PODID project during a key review session in Brussels, presenting the latest advancements in high-performance power electronics.
