On Tuesday, September 24th 2024, Prof. Marco Crescentini, the coordinator of R-PODID, delivered a lecture at the University of Pavia (Palazzo Vistarino) as part of the "Topics on Microelectronics" summer school.
The event was co-organised by the Italian branch of the IEEE Solid-State Circuit Society.
Prof. Crescentini’s lecture, titled "Integrated Current Sensors: Hall-Effect Sensors in Power Electronics Applications" focused on the latest developments in current sensing technology and their applications in power electronics.
The XIX IEEE Topics on Microelectronics Course aims to deepen participants' understanding of microelectronics design, offering diverse perspectives on the topic. It is targeted at Master’s and PhD students, researchers, and designers, featuring five long lectures delivered by academic professors and industry experts. These sessions cover a broad range of subjects, providing a comprehensive view of the current challenges in microelectronics.
The summer school is a collaborative effort that bridges the gap between academic research and industrial practices, bringing together students, researchers, and professionals to explore the future of microelectronics.
