R-PODID PROJECT NEWS

The R-PODID Consortium Meeting officially began today in Istanbul, bringing together partners to discuss ongoing developments and collaboration opportunities.

The R-PODID project has been featured at the prestigious IEEE Computer Society Annual Symposium on VLSI (ISVLSI 2025), with a publication titled “A Parameterizable Convolution Accelerator for Embedded Deep Learning Applications” by Georgios Keramidas of Aristotle University Thessaloniki.

The Centre for Industrial Electronics (CIE) hosted a seminar on 11 August 2025 at SDU Sønderborg, Alsion, focusing on the use of artificial intelligence in electric drive technology.

The R-PODID project received prominent attention at the SMART 2025 ECCOMAS Thematic Conference on Smart Structures and Materials, held at Johannes Kepler University (JKU) in Linz, Austria.

R-PODID was presented with two publications during the 2025 IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for Automotive in Parma on the 25th – 27th of June 2025.

The R-PODID project drew attention at the Fourth Sensor Interfaces Meeting (SIM’25), held from 12–13 May in Veldhoven, The Netherlands.

The R-PODID project was proudly featured at this year’s PCIM Europe Conference and Exhibition, hosted at the booth of Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. The event served as a dynamic platform for innovation, technical exchange, and forward-looking discussion.

The inaugural meeting of the R-PODID Advisory Board took place on the 31st of March 2025, marking an important milestone for the R-PODID project.

Last week, the Coordinator of R-PODID Marco Crescentini attended a meeting organised by the Italian Association of Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Information and Communication Technology (AEIT) and the Chips Mirror Group Italy.

The R-PODID project was presented at the prestigious Design, Automation and Test in Europe (DATE) 2025 Conference, held this year as the 29th edition of Europe’s leading event for electronic system design and testing.

The R-PODID consortium recently convened for an online General Assembly and Consortium Meeting, bringing together key partners to review progress, discuss strategic objectives, and align on the next phase of the project.

On 3rd and 4th February 2025, partners of the R-PODID project, including HPE, UNIBO, ST,
TUE, ICT, UNIME, and LEAR, gathered for the first workshop of Use Case 2a.
