On 18 and 19 November 2025, Neways marked a significant milestone in the R-PODID project during a key review session in Brussels, presenting the latest advancements in high-performance power electronics.
To highlight the occasion, Neways produced a dedicated video showcasing the project’s progress and potential.
The session focused on Neways’ cutting-edge Gallium Nitride motor drives, which promise a step change in power electronics: smaller, faster, and more energy-efficient than conventional silicon-based solutions. This technological leap not only boosts performance but also enhances durability, reduces waste, and ensures reliability in even the most demanding environments.
Beyond raw performance, Neways is integrating AI-driven reliability prediction within a reusable intelligent power module. This system continuously monitors health and supports proactive maintenance planning, enabling predictable operation for mission-critical applications.
