Seminar on AI-Enabled Fault Handling in High Power Electric Drives at SDU Sønderborg

The Centre for Industrial Electronics (CIE) hosted a seminar on 11 August 2025 at SDU Sønderborg, Alsion, focusing on the use of artificial intelligence in electric drive technology.

The seminar was presented by Dr V. S. Bharath Kurukuru from Silicon Austria Labs (SAL). His talk, titled “Predict Prevent Perform with AI-Enabled Fault/Degradation Handling in High Power Electric Drives”, explored the application of AI and machine learning in fault detection and performance optimisation.

The highly anticipated presentation, which is related to R-PODID, addressed failure modes in multiphase electric drives and demonstrated how embedded AI can improve reliability and real-time performance.
