University of Messina Shares Research at Italian Physical Society Conference

Moreno d’Ambrosio from the University of Messina recently presented results from the R-PODID project at the Italian Physical Society (SIF) Conference through an oral presentation.

The talk, titled “Electrical, Thermal and Thermomechanical Analysis of Aging Mechanisms of a Silicon Carbide-based Power MOSFET”, focused on the study of aging mechanisms in silicon carbide (SiC) power MOSFETs, covering electrical, thermal, and thermomechanical aspects.

The work was authored by Moreno d’Ambrosio, Chiara Tripodi, Francesca Garescì, Michele Calabretta, and Salvatore Patanè, and represents an important step in disseminating the project’s findings to the wider scientific community.

The presentation provided an opportunity to share insights, exchange knowledge, and support collaboration within the field of power electronics and materials research.
