R-PODID project work was presented at ECCE Europe 2026 in Valencia as part of a tutorial on AI-based sensor degradation monitoring in multiphase motor drives.
Cristina Villegas Soriano, together with colleagues Satya Kurukuru, Stefano Breda, Roberto Petrella and Monika Stipsitz, presented work developed at Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) within the R-PODID project during the tutorial titled “AI-Based Sensor Degradation Monitoring in Multiphase Motor Drives”.
The team presented the workflow followed throughout the project, sharing its progress and experience with the power electronics community.
As part of the session, Villegas Soriano presented work on integrating the AI model into the Programmable Logic (PL) of the FPGA.
The presentation provided an opportunity for the team to share the work developed within R-PODID and its experience with the wider power electronics community at ECCE Europe 2026.
