R-PODID Presented to Doctoral Candidates of iSense Doctoral Network

26-04-08 00:00

This week, research connected to the R-PODID project was presented to doctoral candidates of the iSense Doctoral Network (DN iSENSE), highlighting ongoing work in the field of electric machine modelling and diagnostics.

The session focused on the wideband modelling of electric machines, outlining the key steps involved and addressing both theoretical foundations and practical implementation. The presentation provided participants with a comprehensive overview of methodologies used to better understand and analyse machine behaviour across a wide frequency range.

As part of the event, a live demonstration was also delivered by Dr. Hassan Khanbabaei and Dr. Mahesh Singh Bisht. The demonstration featured a motor drive electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test bench, along with the measurement process of conducted electromagnetic emissions in motor drive systems. This practical component offered attendees direct insight into experimental procedures and measurement techniques used in the field.

Through its representation at the iSENSE Doctoral Network, R-PODID continues to contribute to knowledge exchange and the training of early-stage researchers in advanced diagnostic and modelling approaches.
