2nd Meeting of the R-PODID Advisory Board for Dissemination and Exploitation Held
26-03-26 00:00
On March 26, the R-PODID project successfully held the second meeting of its Advisory Board for Dissemination and Exploitation, bringing together key stakeholders and partners to evaluate progress and refine strategies for maximising the project’s impact.
The meeting opened at 12:00 with welcoming remarks, followed by an introductory session led by R-PODID Coordinator Marco Crescentini. In his address, Crescentini highlighted the importance of aligning dissemination and exploitation activities with both scientific excellence and industrial relevance, setting the tone for a focused and forward-looking discussion.
A central part of the agenda was dedicated to exploitation plan presentations from R-PODID partners. Representatives from organisations including Bewell, HPE, PDM, Neways, Signify, AVL List, ICT Lab, Università di Bologna, Johannes Kepler University Linz, and Università degli Studi di Messina, among others, shared their approaches to translating project results into tangible outcomes. These presentations showcased a diverse range of strategies, from technology transfer and industrial integration to collaborative research initiatives and market-oriented applications.
The session underscored the project’s strong multidisciplinary nature and its commitment to bridging the gap between research and industry needs.
Following the presentations, an interactive question-and-answer session provided a platform for deeper reflection on the project’s trajectory. Advisory Board members and participants engaged in a constructive exchange of several key questions shaping the next phase of R-PODID:
How can the project foster a higher volume and quality of scientific dissemination outputs?
What measures can enhance the project’s industrial impact and ensure uptake by relevant sectors?
In what ways can R-PODID contribute to the training and development of the next generation of engineers?
How can the project create a concrete and durable legacy beyond its formal duration?
These guiding questions sparked valuable insights, emphasising the need for stronger collaboration across partners, targeted dissemination strategies, and sustained engagement with industry and educational institutions.
The outcomes of this Advisory Board session are expected to inform upcoming dissemination activities and exploitation pathways, reinforcing the project’s mission to deliver impactful and lasting results.
