Arçelik A.Ş., a leading global manufacturer in the home appliances industry, recently played host to a pivotal workshop for the Horizon Europe Chips JU project R-PODID (Reliable Powerdown for Industrial Drivers). 

The workshop served as a collaborative platform for industry leaders and research institutions to discuss requirements, actions, and potential collaborations aimed at advancing reliable powerdown solutions for industrial drivers.

The workshop brought together key stakeholders including BeWell Teknoloji, Arçelik, Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI), and Instituto de Telecomunicacoes (ITAV). Held at the state-of-the-art Arçelik Electronics Plant in Çerkezköy, Turkey, the event provided a unique opportunity to showcase the functionalities of Arçelik's cutting-edge conveyor belt motors, industrial drivers, and other essential components.

During the workshop, participants engaged in insightful discussions exploring various aspects of reliable powerdown mechanisms, ranging from technological requirements to potential implementation strategies. Attendees had the opportunity to witness firsthand the innovative solutions developed by Arçelik, gaining valuable insights into the practical applications of advanced industrial drivers and related technologies.

Furthermore, the workshop featured comprehensive assessments of measurement methods, noise data collection, and performance measurements from the motors and existing sensors. These evaluations aimed to refine existing methodologies and enhance the accuracy and reliability of data collection processes, laying the groundwork for future advancements in the field of industrial automation.
